Surviving the Machine Apocalypse

Ever since the dawn of computers people have been obsessed with making them "intelligent". This has taken several different forms and looking back we could conclude that some of them have been rather successful; even if, by today's standards, we would not count them as intelligent.

This obsession with creating intelligence predates computers and as it's been going on for decades it will not stop any time soon. As we progress into a new future with smarter technology what space is left for us as humans? What are the unique talents that will keep us relevant for years to come?
